We met through mutual friends. Neither of us distinctly remembers the first time, so nobody gets to call it love at first sight.
May 2022
We became real friends at Lightning in a Bottle, mostly at the Woogie stage.
June – December 2022
Things moved gradually over the following months.
January 1, 2023
After seeing John Summit at Fresh Start to ring in the new year, we finally told each other that we liked each other. We call this our anniversary, though it was a long time coming.
February 2024
We moved in together. Colleen broke her wrist five days beforehand, which made the process extra fun. It worked out.
July 2025
Woogie joined us, and has been running the house ever since.
February 2026
We got engaged. We had already booked this wedding, so thankfully we each said yes.
September 21, 2026
Our wedding, and our new anniversary. We're looking forward to the next legally-bound-to-each-other-for-life chapter, and to spending the day with our families and closest friends.
